Hagemann Ulrich

University education as pharmacist and examination in 1972 (Free University of Berlin). Additional university education in biochemistry terminated with diploma, and PhD in biochemistry/molecular biology in 1978 (Free University of Berlin).

1979 – 2011 working at the German national drug agency, the Federal Institute of Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) in Berlin and Bonn.

Since 1996 deputy Head of the Pharmacovigilance Department at the BfArM, and since 2005 until December 2010 Head of the Pharmacovigilance Department, now retired.

Member of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance – ISoP. From 2009 to November 2016 Member of ISoP Executive Committee, and since 2012 until October 2016 ISoP Secretary General.

Associate member at the Drug Commission of the German Medical Association.
Member of the Editorial Board of JRSM (International Journal of Risk and Safety in Medicine).
